DSCF0602I see you there!

This little mouse watched me while I mucked out the hogs today…..cheeky thing, between that and the robin perching on the table….

Well guys, I’m off on a jolly to York for four days for a friends’ birthday, sixteen of us are going so it should be something of a hoot.

I won’t have internet access so I shall catch up with you all when I get home.

Until then

  1. Great to get away with a big bunch of friends – sounds like a right old jolly up! It’s the sort of thing I would do when much younger *sigh*. Hope you had such a good time that it will be best not to mention any of it!!

  2. Glad you had a good time partying with your friends in Yorkshire.

  3. Smart little mouse! She knew you wouldn’t hurt her. I find mice in the bottom of my bird seed bins and I always let them go in the garden. They seem so surprised.

    • Ahhhh….glad you let the little mice go, I can imagine their surprise, they are probably more used to people shrieking!!! xxx

  4. How wonderful to get together with old friends for the sake of being happy together… for a celebration. And of course, it seems only natural to me, that a mouse would get cheeky in your company. Mice are very much like us in certain ways, and I’m sure that one felt quite secure… felt your love for your fellow creatures. Hope it was a perfect get together, and looking forward to your report. xxx

    • Thanks Shimon, it was a very bold little mouse and seemed very interested and curious about me and what I was doing. It would be a lovely thing if it did sense that it would come to no harm….
We all had a really lovely time, I’ve never seen so much food and drink…and there was lots of laughter and story telling….and singing of course. xxx

    • Thanks Glo, we stayed in a converted farmhouse, it was gorgeous and very remote so didn’t manage to see York….lol….yesxthe mouse will no doubt be there watching me tomorrow, from somewhere or other…xxx

  7. Cheeky little creature! I’ve seen least one in the shed where my beekeeping equipment has been stored over winter. If it has eaten its way through some of the comb I won’t be pleased at all…

    Have a lovely break!

    • Oh noooooooo….I hope your equipment has survived those razor sharp teeth….thanks Wendy, we all had a fab time. xxx
