About

I have a great passion for animals, the natural world and all things wildlife, and I’m happiest when outdoors.

I’m also obsessed with gardening and  growing my own, but I am very much an amateur. I garden organically and always consider the pollinators and all our native wildlife when planting.

I really enjoy walking and cycling, and I love to travel, especially with our dogs.

I volunteer in a rescue, mainly working with wildlife, although our shelters care for dogs, cats, small mammals, wildlife, horses, ponies and farm animals.

I have a hubby, daughter, two young dogs, a stray cat, a special needs hedgehog that lives in a large rabbit hutch in the garden, and an array of rescued/released birds that have made my garden their home.

I live in Liverpool and love all things Scouser, I’m also a professional artist, and middle-aged….but please keep that to yourself.

This blog is about the things that interest me…..which is pretty much everything. Oh yes…..I also enjoy blogging and reading like-minded bloggers.

How good to find a fellow scouser! Maybe I don’t qualify as I was from Birkenhead but the undergardener is certainly from Liverpool! We moved down to Devon 24yrs ago with husband’s job and started creating our wildlife garden. We are now retired and enjoying a slower pace of life. Like you I wouldn’t leave my dogs to go abroad, I think you have found a wonderful solution
I’m so glad I found you, will be visiting regularly!
